I think this may be my favorite Therme yet! My husband and I finally had a chance to drop by the Kaiser Friedrich Therme after having moved to Wiesbaden six months ago.

We've had several experiences with textile free spas, so that part of the experience was not a shock for us. This mineraltherme is not the newest or fanciest, but it gets the job done in an affordable way.

We tried most of the saunas and steam rooms, and really liked the Lumenraum, which is a darkened, restful area with colorful lights that change colors.

I loved the spa loungers they had in there I think my favorite attraction was the 39 C sitting bath, with the super strong jets that hit my lower back in just the right spot.

I think I could have sat there all day if my skin weren't wrinkling. I also loved the beautiful, but cold, pool with its "baptismal font" like hot pool behind it.

It was so relaxing, yet invigorating. I can see us becoming regulars, now that we know where it is and what the drill is.

Well worth a stop-- and very affordable, too! Date of experience: May JHL wrote a review Mar Seoul, South Korea 7, contributions helpful votes.

Great massage--much to be desired of the Front Office, check in staff! The Therme hot water baths were closed when I visited a few days ago.

The Front Office-Check-In lady, did not inform me that the charges would start as soon as one enters the premises. Being in a strange place, I was early to reach there as I found the location faster than expected.

This was my 2nd visit there in past 3 years. It would seem that the strategy is to give the electronic chip to clients and let them enter the premises, even if just to wait.

While this may be clearly obvious to locals and frequent visitors, it was not explained to me to wait outside.

As a result I ended up paying for an extra hour that I spent waiting for may massage appointment. If the Therme Hot water Baths were operational, they entitle one to have 4 hours access.

The whole pricing structure is complicated and leaves it open for the Front-Office to manipulate the timing. Read more. Date of experience: December Wiesbaden, Germany 68 contributions 29 helpful votes.
